ArcGIS Mission is available in ArcGIS Enterprise. ArcGIS Mission is a geospatial communications and situational awareness app that provides managers, analysts, and responders with a comprehensive view of an operating environment and helps coordinate movement and communication among team members. ArcGIS Mission is composed of three components: ArcGIS Mission Manager, ArcGIS Mission Responder, and ArcGIS Mission Server.
The ArcGIS Mission Manager web app is where missions are built and organized. ArcGIS Mission Responder allows mission engagement through a mobile app. ArcGIS Mission Server is an ArcGIS Enterprise server that links Manager and Responder. For more information, see What is ArcGIS Mission.
ArcGIS Mission Manager
The following are new in the most recent version of Manager:
- Tasking panel enhancements—Ability to update tasks from within the Task Panel as well as enhanced sorting and filtering capabilities within that panel.
- Edit Chat Importance—Chats that were marked with importance can now be edited to remove a messages importance designation. Alternatively, messages that were not important can now be edited to add importance.
- Flooraware configuration—In previous versions, you would need to use a published flooraware map to have flooraware enabled maps. At 11.5, you can add published flooraware layers during and edit map session and configure them within the app.
- Broadcast attachments—Attachments can now be added to a broadcast to enhance the text message with additional materials or sketches.
- Chat filtering—Chats can be filtered based on importance in both Manager and Responder chat feeds.
ArcGIS Mission Responder
- Assign self to task—Previously available on Manager, Responders can now view a task and if they have the ability to accomplish it, claim the task from within the Responder app.
- Broadcasts—Broadcasts are able to be sent from Mission Leads.
- UX/UI Enhancements—many UX/UI enhancements to improve the look and function of ArcGIS Mission Responder.
